The LJ-1 is a subsonic unmanned aerial vehicle developed by China to simulate third and fourth generation fighter jet targets. Besides, the LJ-1 is expected to operate as a loyal wingman aircraft system in support of fifth generation aircraft. China unveiled the LJ-1 at the Moscow Airshow in August 2019.
